Ramashish Ray is the founder of Starscapes, India’s pioneering astronomy and astrotourism organisation. A published photographer and lifelong astronomy enthusiast, he started Starscapes in 2017 with its first observatory in Kausani. With 25+ years of corporate leadership experience at organisations such as Nokia and Samsung, he brings together his passion for photography and astronomy with his expertise in building businesses across electronics and smart technologies. Through Starscapes, he continues to make astronomy, stargazing, and the wonder of the night sky more accessible to people across India.
