Blue Moon – Ladakh: Celestial Peaks | 26th May – 2nd June 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before confirming your booking. By registering for this expedition, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Payment Policy
A booking amount is required to confirm participation in the expedition.
The total expedition cost is Rs. 64,999/- for Single Occupancy and Rs. 49,999/- for Twin sharing basis.
Bookings will be confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment.
The balance payment must be cleared on or before the communicated due date prior to departure.
Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Failure to complete the payment within the specified timeline may result in cancellation of the reservation.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Before 28th April 2026
Full credit of the paid amount will be provided.
Between 28th April 2026 – 3rd May 2026
50% credit of the total paid amount will be provided.
After 3rd May 2026
No refund will be applicable.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures once the expedition has commenced.
Refund timelines (if applicable) may take 7–14 working days to process.
3. Health & Fitness Requirements
This expedition involves travel to high-altitude regions across Ladakh, including remote locations with limited medical access.
Participants must ensure they are medically fit for high-altitude travel and physically prepared for long drives, early mornings, and moderate physical activity.
Guests with pre-existing medical conditions (including cardiac, respiratory, severe hypertension, or altitude-sensitive conditions) are strongly advised to consult a physician before booking.
The organizer reserves the right to deny participation if a guest’s health condition poses a safety risk to themselves or the group.
Basic oxygen cylinder support will be available; however, participants are responsible for their personal medications and health preparedness.
4. Itinerary Changes
The itinerary is tentative and may be adjusted due to weather conditions, road accessibility, government regulations, local restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
The Blue Moon and night sky observations are natural astronomical events. While every effort will be made to facilitate viewing and astrophotography sessions, visibility is subject to weather, cloud cover, and atmospheric conditions beyond our control.
No refunds will be issued due to reduced visibility caused by natural conditions.
The organizer reserves the right to modify routes, accommodations, or activity schedules in the best interest of participant safety and overall expedition experience.
5. Travel & Inclusions
The expedition cost includes:

- Ladakh Inner Line Permit

- Oxygen cylinder support

Flights to and from Leh are not included.
Personal expenses, camera fees (if applicable), and any services not explicitly mentioned in the inclusions section will be treated as exclusions.
6. Accommodation & Room Allocation
Accommodation will be provided in the listed hotels/resorts or similar category properties based on operational availability.
Room allocation will be on a twin-sharing basis unless otherwise specified.
Requests for specific room types, floor preferences, or hotel upgrades are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Accommodation changes due to weather, route conditions, or operational reasons may be made without prior notice while ensuring equivalent comfort standards.
7. Photography & Equipment
Participants are responsible for carrying and managing their own photography equipment, accessories, batteries, chargers, and personal belongings.
The organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal equipment during the expedition.
Hands-on astrophotography guidance will be provided by the mentor; however, individual results may vary depending on skill level, weather conditions, and equipment capability.
Participants are advised to carry weather-appropriate gear for high-altitude night photography conditions.
8. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow travelers, local communities, local customs, and the natural environment.
Any behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, or unlawful may result in removal from the expedition without refund.
Participants must follow all instructions provided by expedition leaders, local guides, and local authorities throughout the journey.
Respect for nature, cultural heritage sites, and remote Himalayan communities is expected at all times.
9. Force Majeure
The organizer shall not be held responsible for delays, modifications, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Extreme weather conditions
- Road closures or landslides
- Political unrest
- Government restrictions
- Flight delays or cancellations
- Local administrative restrictions
In such cases, alternative arrangements may be offered wherever feasible; however, any additional costs arising from such situations may need to be borne by the participant.
10. Liability Disclaimer
Participation in this expedition involves inherent risks associated with high-altitude travel, remote terrain, road journeys, and outdoor night photography.
By booking, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
The organizer acts as a facilitator and shall not be held liable for injury, illness, loss, accident, delay, or damage arising during the expedition, except in cases of proven negligence.
Participants are encouraged to arrange personal travel insurance for added safety and coverage.
11. Media & Promotional Usage
Photographs and videos captured during the expedition may be used by the organizer for promotional, editorial, and marketing purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional material must notify the organizer in writing prior to the event.
Appropriate photographer credit will be provided wherever applicable.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming the booking and making payment, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Participation in the expedition implies full acceptance of all policies stated above.
