Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before confirming your booking. By registering for this expedition, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Payment Policy
- A booking amount of ₹9,999 per person is required to confirm participation.
- The balance payment must be cleared on or before the communicated due date prior to departure.
- Bookings will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
- Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- The booking amount (₹9,999) is fully refundable until 31st March 2026.
- Cancellations made after 31st March 2026 may attract partial or full cancellation charges depending on proximity to departure and vendor commitments.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures once the expedition has commenced.
- Refund timelines (if applicable) may take 7–14 working days to process.
3. Health & Fitness Requirements
- This expedition involves travel to high-altitude regions (up to approximately 14,000 ft).
- Participants must ensure they are medically fit for high-altitude travel.
- Guests with pre-existing medical conditions (cardiac, respiratory, severe hypertension, etc.) are advised to consult a physician before booking.
- The organizer reserves the right to deny participation if a guest’s health condition poses a safety risk.
4. Itinerary Changes
- The itinerary is tentative and may be adjusted due to weather conditions, road conditions, government regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- The Blue Moon is a natural astronomical event. While every effort will be made to facilitate observation, visibility is subject to weather and atmospheric conditions beyond our control.
- No refunds will be issued due to cloud cover or reduced visibility caused by natural factors.
5. Travel & Inclusions
- The expedition cost includes accommodation, meals, internal transportation (as per itinerary), astronomy sessions, astrophotography guidance, and applicable taxes.
- Flights to and from Leh are not included.
- Any services not explicitly mentioned in the inclusions section will be treated as exclusions.
6. Accommodation & Room Allocation
- Accommodation will be provided in the specified hotels/lodges or similar category properties.
- Room allocation is subject to availability and the selected occupancy category (single/double/child).
- Requests for specific room types are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
7. Photography & Equipment
- Participants are responsible for their own photography equipment, accessories, and personal belongings.
- The organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal equipment.
- Basic guidance will be provided; however, individual results may vary depending on skill level and weather conditions.
8. Code of Conduct
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow travelers, local communities, and the environment.
- Any behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful may result in removal from the expedition without refund.
- Participants must comply with instructions given by expedition leaders and local authorities.
9. Force Majeure
The organizer shall not be held responsible for delays, modifications, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Extreme weather
- Road blockages
- Political unrest
- Government restrictions
- Flight disruptions
In such cases, alternative arrangements may be offered where feasible, but additional costs (if any) may need to be borne by the participant.
10. Liability Disclaimer
- Participation in this expedition involves inherent risks associated with travel and high-altitude environments.
- By booking, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
- The organizer acts as a facilitator and is not liable for injury, loss, accident, or damage arising during the expedition, except in cases of proven negligence.
11. Media & Promotional Usage
Photographs and videos captured during the expedition may be used by the organizer for promotional and marketing purposes. Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional material must notify the organizer in writing prior to the event.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming the booking and making payment, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
