TENTATIVE ITINERARY
Day 1 – Feb 28 | Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Majuli
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Proceed on a scenic drive to Majuli, the world’s largest river island (approx. 5–6 hours including ferry crossing).
On arrival, check in at your stay and relax. If time permits, enjoy a peaceful walk around the village surroundings and soak in the tranquil riverside atmosphere.

Day 2 – Mar 1 | Explore Majuli – Culture & Traditions
After breakfast, spend the day discovering the cultural heritage of Majuli:
- Visit the renowned Satras (Vaishnavite monasteries) and learn about Assam’s Neo-Vaishnavite traditions
- Witness the ancient art of mask making by local artisans
- Interact with local communities and learn about their crafts and lifestyle
- Birdwatching opportunities around the wetlands and riverbanks
- Enjoy the serene island life and rural charm.

Day 3 – Mar 2 | Majuli – Transfer to Kaziranga
After breakfast, take the morning ferry from Majuli and drive to Kaziranga National Park.
On arrival, check in at your resort and relax. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Day 4 – Mar 3 | Kaziranga Safari & Tea Garden Experience
- Start your day early with either an Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari in Kaziranga (as per availability).
- Explore the park’s incredible wildlife, including:
• The iconic one-horned rhinoceros
• Wild buffalo, swamp deer, hog deer
• Rich birdlife and diverse flora
Later, visit the nearby Pirbi Tea Garden (approx. 10 km):
- Meet local tea growers
- Learn about traditional tea processing

- No refunds will be provided due to unfavorable weather or partial/zero visibility.
- Alternate astronomy talks or activities may be arranged if conditions do not permit observations.
- Kaziranga National Park safaris are subject to forest department rules, permits, and availability.
- Safari timings and zones may change without prior notice.
- Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
- Starscapes reserves the right to modify the itinerary, accommodation, or activity order due to weather, safety, park regulations, or operational reasons.
